ND Baseball: Irish gear up for possible weather

Looking to build on a strong opening weekend, the Irish might find that the biggest obstacle to earning more wins this weekend is not something they can control — the weather. With three games scheduled in the Pacific Northwest against Seattle University, recent adverse weather conditions in the area have cast doubt over the teams' ability to play games.

SMC Basketball: Thunder finish like lightning at MIAAs

Basketball is often a game of runs. Unfortunately for Saint Mary's, Trine College's final run came late in the game on Tuesday night. The No. 3 Belles (18-8, 11-5 MIAA) did not have time to answer and were upset by the No. 6 Thunder (8-17, 4-11 MIAA) 68-58 in the opening round of the MIAA tournament.
