The Irish last played in Yankee Stadium in 1969. Then, Ara Parseghian and the Irish trounced none other than Army 45-0. The victory brought Notre Dame's record in The House That Ruth Built to 15-6-3.

Two games into the season, Notre Dame has outscored its opposition by a combined 58 points. In their third game of the season, the Irish (2-0) face a Chicago State team that was outscored by 34 points against DePaul Sunday.

ND Volleyball: Irish sweep twice over weekend

Two straight sweeps and 31 kills from junior outside hitter Kristen Dealy marked the end of the regular conference season for the Irish as they defeated Rutgers and Seton Hall over the weekend to put them at (17-11 overall, 10-4 Big East) as they head into the Big East tournament next weekend.
