ND Women's Soccer: Tourney Time

Not only did No. 4 Notre Dame won its 11th Big East Tournament with a 2-1 victory over Marquette Sunday, but the Irish also made a strong statement to the NCAA about where they deserve to be seeded in the NCAA Tournament beginning Friday.

ND Swimming: Irish fall to Boilermakers

Both the Irish men's and women's swimming and diving teams fell to Purdue  Friday at Purdue's Boilermaker Aquatic Center, but first-place performances from both teams showed the season has plenty of potential.

Fencing: Two Irish earn golds at Juniors

The Irish proved to the fencing world once again that they are not a team to be overlooked on the strip heading into intercollegiate play. Sophomores Courtney Hurley and Gerek Meinhardt finished the USFA NAC Juniors with a pair of gold medals Friday, raising their individual international rankings even further.

The players won't say it. The coaches won't say it. Nobody within with the Notre Dame football program is admitting it, but to anyone who follows sports, it's fairly obvious what happened to Notre Dame on Saturday.

Jimmy Clausen set career-highs in pass attempts (51), completions (37) and passing yards (452), and a new school record of completions, Golden Tate made nine catches for 132 yards and a touchdown and Michael Floyd returned to the field for Notre Dame.

Football: Irish fall to Midshipmen

Jimmy Clausen set career-highs in pass attempts (51), completions (37), and passing yards (452), Golden Tate made nine catches for 132 yards and a touchdown, and Michael Floyd returned to the field for Notre Dame, but the Irish were not able to fight off the Navy Midshipmen for a win Saturday, falling 23-21 in the 83rd meeting of the two teams.

Fencing: Irish send best to USFA Juniors

Following back-to-back second-place finishes in the NCAA Championships, the Irish begin this season looking to grab that elusive title. Led by sophomore epeeist Courtney Hurley and sophomore Olympian Gerek Meinhardt, Notre Dame will send its best to compete in the USFA NAC Juniors today in Kansas City, Mo.

Men's Basketball: Irish host Quincy in final exhibition game

At the start of a season with many questions still unanswered, coach Mike Brey is still looking to fill in the pieces of his lineup around star seniors Tory Jackson and Luke Harangody. Tonight's exhibition game against Quincy University is simply the next step in that process.

After a blowout victory over Washington State in San Antonio that may have helped Notre Dame's future recruiting in Texas, this weekend the Irish will welcome official visitor Marquis Flowers to South Bend to see the team take on Navy.

Men's Interhall Football: Playoffs?!

If the old adage "Defense wins championships" is true, Sorin's first round playoff game against Siegfried should be nothing more than a speed bump on the road a to a championship in a few weeks. The Otters (3-0-1) enter the playoffs undefeated thanks to their stellar defense, which has yet to allow a point this season.
