Security officer should not be paid

Monday's news of the alleged actions of NDSP officer Tim Clark is horrific. A seven week old baby broken in numerous places, what could be worse? How about the University still paying this man even though he admitted to the abuse?

I am apalled that this man is still on the payroll because in our recent past we have expelled four student athletes for only rumors of rape. We expelled them before they were even charged. Not only did the administration dismiss them before the charges were brought, the men maintained their innocence the entire time.

Not only did they claim their innocence, but none were found to be guilty of rape. How can our University be so quick to judge its students but overlook its employees? Is it because they want to baby us and try to be our parents? If they tried to do that with their employees, no one would want to work for them. Or could it be that they knew that football players would get more press than a security guard? Whatever the answer is, I don't like it. The administration needs to be more consistent.
