Workplace accountability

As the mother of a son who works in videography, I'm personally saddened by the recent death of videographer Declan Sullivan at Notre Dame. This hits close to home because our own son also has videotaped from a scissor lift in windy conditions.

The Holy Cross order has a history of upholding social justice throughout the world, which can be seen in the 1966 photograph of Fr. Theodore Hesburgh with Martin Luther King, Jr., which now is in the Smithsonian Institute. Our son was the one who retouched that again, now-famous photograph.
