A man was shot in the arm Monday night after two suspects demanded his belongings on Notre Dame Avenue, south of Napoleon St., the Notre Dame Police Department (NDPD) said in an email.
The two male suspects approached the victim from a vehicle.
NDPD and the South Bend Police Department (SBPD) have been corresponding about this incident, the email said. SBPD urges anyone who has information regarding the robbery to contact them.
The news of this attempted robbery and aggravated assault comes just hours after the news of another robbery Monday morning, which resulted in a victim shot in the leg.
