New club supports women in math

Thousands of miles apart, 2018 Notre Dame graduate Caitlyn Booms and senior Katie Gallagher arrived at the same conclusion: Notre Dame needed a supportive club for women pursuing mathematics.

“Notre Dame would be a much different place if we didn’t have the Basilica of the Sacred Heart,” he said. “It is a powerful symbol that has touched the lives of literally millions of people. And it's something that people will remember for a long time.”

3D printing firm showcases capabilities at Innovation Park

Visitors to Innovation Park, Notre Dame’s technology and entrepreneurship facility, may be puzzled by the large chamber apparatus set up near the entrance. This machine, an advanced 3D scanner owned by German startup Doob, aims to display the company’s innovative technology to members of the Notre Dame and South Bend communities and provide customers with an eye-catching and unconventional memento.
