Admissions Scandal: Tri-campus community explores implications of college admissions scandal
Lime, the transport company which operates and maintains the green, dock-less Lime Bikes in South Bend and the tri-campus community, will remove all of its bicycles from South Bend as well as Notre Dame, Saint Mary's and Holy Cross by “mid-May,” an email from the University announced Friday. The bicycles have been in South Bend and on the campuses since the summer of 2017.
The Morris Inn will undergo five months of dining renovations beginning in November, the University announced in a press release Thursday.
While the recent college admissions scandal — permeating national news and implicating many well-known celebrities — has sparked outrage among Americans, it has also highlighted unfair advantages wealthy students gained in the college admissions process, especially to highly ranked universities.
Notre Dame’s Office of Military and Veterans Affairs will host its second Storm the Stadium event Saturday to benefit the University’s military men and women with a day of stair climbing and other festivities on the field.
