ND Women's Tennis: Sanders looks toward strong senior season

In her Notre Dame career, senior Britney Sanders has gone from an inconsistent freshman to a junior in the No. 1 singles spot. Now, Sanders is looking toward the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy on her teammates and her program in her final season with the Irish.

ND Cross Country: Lesiewicz, Meunier win first races of the year

Patrick Lesiewicz and SydniMeunier entered this past weekend's Crusader Invitational from very different places. Lesiewicz, a senior on the men's team, is a cross country veteran with many races under his belt, while Meunier, a sophomore for the women, has run in just four career meets. Both runners, though, ended in the same position: first.

Men's Soccer: Tie of the Titans

The No. 4 Irish couldn't secure a win in their first conference match in the ACC, but a strike from senior forward Leon Brown in the 79th minute led Notre Dame to an eventual 1-1 overtime draw with No. 1 North Carolina at Alumni Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

ND Women's Soccer: Offense dominates Detroit

In the team's final tune-up before starting conference play, the Irish bounced back from last week's tough loss to No. 3 UCLA in an impressive 4-0 victory over Detroit at Alumni Stadium on Sunday evening.

First half recap: Michigan 27, Notre Dame 13

ANN ARBOR, MICH. - The Irish began the game at their own 25-yard line but quickly went three and out and punted the ball over to the Wolverines. Michigan promptly put together a 10-play, 41-yard drive to get down to the Notre Dame 27-yard line. But the Irish held firm defensively and forced a 44-yard field goal from Michigan senior kicker Brendan Gibbons, who drilled the kick to make it 3-0 early.
