Hours before classes begin at Notre Dame, Gunner Kiel's recruitment took yet another turn, this time toward the Irish.
Rumors swirled Monday evening that Kiel, one of the top quarterback recruits in the country, had decommitted from LSU, only weeks after he decommitted from Indiana.
A University staff member has confirmed to The Observer that Kiel is expected to be living in O'Neill Hall by the end of the week. The staff member remained anonymous because the staff member was not authorized to discuss specific students and their enrollments.
Kiel's sudden, 11th-hour switch to Notre Dame came just before classes for the spring semester began Tuesday morning.
