Hesburgh made Irish citizen

Already a major date on Notre Dame calendars, this year's St. Patrick's Day had additional significance for the University. Enda Kenny, Taoiseach (prime minister) of Ireland, visited campus Saturday evening to present an Irish passport to University President Emeritus Fr. Theodore Hesburgh.

Legends holds focus group for Saint Mary's students

Legends of Notre Dame is a restaurant, bar and club that serves as a gathering place for the Notre Dame, Saint Mary's and Holy Cross communities. On March 8, the Legends marketing team held a focus group at Saint Mary's for students to voice their opinions and concerns.

Faculty Senate passes LGBTQ resolution

In a push for improved inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) members of the Notre Dame community, the Faculty Senate passed two resolutions Tuesday, one supporting a gay-straight alliance and the other proposing adding sexual orientation to the University's non-discrimination clause.
