Notre Dame introduces musical theatre minor

In an effort to encourage students of varied interests to express themselves through the arts, the departments of Film, Television and Theatre (FTT) and Music are working together to launch a new minor in musical theatre this fall, said Matt Hawkins, assistant professor and head of the minor.

Thomas Friedman, three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and author of six best-selling books, discussed his book “Thank You for Being Late: An Optimist’s Guide to Thriving in the Age of Accelerations” on Friday in the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center during a lecture hosted by the Mendoza College of Business.
