Recruiting efforts slow, expected to pick up after USC matchup
Thanks to back-to-back wins and a third-place finish in its first three tournaments to open up the season, Notre Dame men’s golf is riding a wave of confidence as they prepare to compete in their one and only home tournament of the year next week: the Fighting Irish Classic.
Notre Dame is preparing to welcome Bowling Green to South Bend on Saturday for the first ever matchup between these two schools. Last season, the Falcons finished with a disappointing 3-9 (2-6 MAC) record, and they looked to improve the team by hiring a new head coach, Scot Loeffler.
