Men's Soccer: After loss to Nova, Clark hopes for at-large bid

Villanova only needed one goal to advance to the second round of the Big East tournament in its 1-0 shutout against Notre Dame at Alumni Stadium on Thursday. The Irish will run a full week of practice and hope for an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament, which begins Nov. 17.

The best dynamic duo in interhall football this year is pretty clear. Junior David Whitmore and senior Will Gesicki account for more than 70 percent of Siegfried's total offense. The pair account for about 175 yards of offense per game, which leads the league.

Men's Soccer: Irish improve playoff seeding with victory

After stumbling against West Virginia on Saturday, the Irish had to deliver in the regular season finale against Seton Hall to improve their positioning for the postseason. The Irish faithful can now breathe easily. Notre Dame delivered in a big way, racking up goal after goal in a 4-0 rout of the Pirates.
