Men's Golf: Notre Dame concludes fall season

After 36 holes of play Monday at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate, the Irish sat in 11th place with one round to play in a tough 14-team field. After firing a second-round total of 289 Monday afternoon, the Irish and coach Jim Kubinski were hoping that a strong finish Tuesday could propel the Irish up the leaderboard.

In their final event of the fall season, the Irish completed the first day of play in the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate, a two-day tournament in Dallas, Texas, on Monday. The Irish struggled to find consistency and rhythm through the first 36 holes of the event en route to an eleventh place finish for the day.

Irish shut down Navy triple option

For 43 years, it was pretty simple: Notre Dame scheduled Navy, and Notre Dame beat Navy. Starting in 2007 though, the Midshipmen and their option attack upset the balance of power by taking three of four victories from the Irish, averaging 31 points and 287 rushing yards a game.

ND Women's Soccer: Familiar Feeling

Senior tri-captain and reigning Big East Offensive Player of the Week Melissa Henderson netted a school-record 24th match-winning goal to lift the Irish to a 1-0 victory over No. 5/9 Marquette on Sunday, sending Notre Dame to the Big East semifinals for the 15th time in 17 years.
