Junior attack Sean Rogers is a busy man, and it's all thanks to his tight-knit network of teammates and friends. They drive him to excel academically, athletically and socially — and he has done so, leading the Irish to an 8-0 record.

SMC Softball:SMC stays above .500 with win

The Belles maintained a winning record with their much-needed 11-0 win against Franklin Tuesday, but only after dropping the first game of the afternoon's doubleheader by a score of 9-4.

Men's Golf: Notre Dame takes first in home tournament

With the sour taste of two disappointing tournament finishes lingering, the Irish returned to familiar grounds for Tuesday's Battle at the Warren on the Warren Golf Course. Notre Dame played well on its home course, finishing in first place by 11 strokes.

ND Softball: Doubleheader leads to Notre Dame sweep

Despite what some team members called "mediocre play" during Tuesday's doubleheader, the No. 24 Irish managed to soundly defeat Bowling Green 10-2 and 8-5. These two wins contributed to the 11-game winning streak the Irish (28-7) have maintained since their home opener.

Hockey: Big (Ten) change

The lights have dimmed and the curtain has closed on the 2010-11 Irish hockey season. It was a successful one, as Notre Dame advanced to the Frozen Four for just the second time in program history. With twelve rising sophomores expected to return, a brand new arena opening for the 2011-2012 season and just four seniors departing, much talk has already moved to next year and the seasons to come.

Baseball: Aoki changes team culture

Amid free agency, steroids allegations and commercial breaks between pitching changes, often times the business of winning takes a backseat for a professional baseball manager. While first-year Irish coach Mik Aoki deals with a different set of distractions as a collegiate coach, a professional attitude and a new focus instilled by Notre Dame's skipper has the program headed back in a winning direction.

SMC Tennis: Saint Mary's travels to Alma for road tilt

The Belles face crunch time as they travel to Alma tonight to compete in the first of four final conference matches before the MIAA championships. Standing at .500 in conference play, Saint Mary's hopes to end the season on a strong note.

SMC Softball: Struggling Belles take on Franklin

Coming off three consecutive losses, the Belles will travel to Franklin College today for a doubleheader. Saint Mary's has had a rough season since Spring Break and now has an overall record of 11-10 (1-5 MIAA).

The difference between the nine-game winning streak that began Notre Dame's season and the one the squad will look to extend in tomorrow's doubleheader against Bowling Green is simple — this time around, the Irish know what it is like to lose.

Football: Floyd to remain suspended from football activities

After meeting with the Office of Residence Life last week, junior wide receiver Michael Floyd will remain suspended indefinitely from football activities, Irish coach Brian Kelly said Saturday. According to a press release, Floyd will continue his educational pursuits and will have the opportunity to rejoin the football program after meeting certain requirements set by the university and Kelly.

In anticipation of a large crowd and a competitive matchup, the No. 2 Irish are eager to take the field for their Playing for Peace Game against Georgetown as they look to remain undefeated on the season.

SMC Tennis: Belles to face Bethel College

Saint Mary's looks to extend its win streak to five and strengthen its MIAA resume this weekend with a non-conference match against Bethel College and an MIAA showdown with last year's conference runner-up, Hope College.

Coming off a strong performance in the Mike Poehlein Invitational at Purdue, and with the season winding down, the Irish need to keep playing at a high level this weekend as they head to Kentucky for the Louisville Border Battle.
