Notes: Lewis-Moore enjoys homecoming

- The game in San Antonio had an extra special meaning for Notre Dame sophomore defensive lineman Kapron Lewis-Moore, who hails from nearby Weatherford, Texas Lewis-Moore said he received over 20 ticket requests for the game, but was able to accommodate everyone.

Men's Soccer: Team moves into first in blue division

In a game that the Irish had to win against No. 5 Connecticut in order to have a shot at winning the Big East Blue Division, Notre Dame came up big with a senior forward Bright Dike golden goal in the first minute of extra time.

SAN ANTONIO — Junior running back Robert Hughes hasn't always known when he would play or where he would play. But when given the opportunity with Armando Allen battling nagging injuries, Hughes has stepped up.

Men's Golf: Notre Dame takes 2nd in Match Play

After winning their first two matches on the weekend, the Irish fell short of the championship at "The Match Play," losing in the final match against Louisville 3.5 to 2.5 to finish in second place on the weekend, ending their fall season.

ND Cross Country: Irish place sixth at Big East meet

The Irish cross country teams ran steadily with their expectations and each finished in sixth place at Saturday's Big East conference meet in Kenosha, Wisc. as they competed against some of the best runners and best teams in the nation.

Sophomore forward Melissa Henderson's three goals highlighted a five-goal first half for No. 5/7 Notre Dame, who sent South Florida packing with a dominant 5-0 victory in the quarterfinals of the Big East Tournament Sunday at Alumni Stadium.

Women's Interhall: PW earns win with defense

With the clock winding down in the second half, it appeared as if Badin was going to pull off a stunning upset of undefeated Pasquerilla West. Trailing by six points, the Purple Weasels quarterback connected a 15-yard bullet pass to freshman Alice Yerokun, who then evaded a defender and ran 25 more yards for the improbable touchdown.
