Holy Cross announced senior Dylan Maugel as this year’s valedictorian, according to an announcement on the College website. Maugel, from Wakarusa, Indiana, is a theology and business double major with a minor in philosophy.
Throughout his time at Holy Cross, Maugel was co-chair of the Social Concerns Committee, a mentor in the Peer Mentor Program and a member of the Liturgical Choir.
Last year, Maugel was awarded the Saint Joseph Service Award, which recognizes a student with an outstanding sense of stewardship and service. He plans to pursue a Master of Divinity degree after graduation.
