Junior Angela Mathew will serve as The Observer’s Manager of Talent & Inclusion for the 2022-2023 term. She will sit on the Editorial Board and ensure accurate, inclusive coverage across the paper.
A junior studying political science with minors in Journalism, Ethics and Democracy and philosophy, politics and economics, Mathew is from Mumbai, India but lives in Pasquerilla West Hall on campus. She previously served as a News and Scene writer.
“I’m inspired by the power that journalism has to spread ideas, and I look forward to working with staff across departments to make our coverage more representative and highlight issues in our community that are often ignored,” Mathew said.
