Football: Rudolph drafted by Minnesota

Notre Dame players had a disappointing weekend at the NFL Draft, with only one player – tight end Kyle Rudolph – selected. In addition, due to continuing collective-bargaining issues between the owners and players, none of the Irish players who went unselected were able to sign any free-agent contracts, as is customary for undrafted but desirable players.

ND Softball: Pitchers combine for no-hitter

Superb performances from seniors at Melissa Cook Stadium, including the second no-hitter this week, made Notre Dame's three-game sweep of Big East opponent St. John's on senior weekend all the more sweet, winning 10-3, 11-1 and 14-0.

ND Women's Tennis: Irish claim Big East championship on home court

For the fourth consecutive year, the No. 23 Irish captured the Big East title, coming out on top over Georgetown, Marquette and No. 42 South Florida over the course of the tournament this weekend. The Irish (16-9) wrapped up the tournament Sunday, beating South Florida 4-2 after losing 5-2 to the Bulls earlier in the regular season.

Track and Field: Irish split squad for Drake, Gina Relays

Splitting up into two separate locations, the Irish competed in two relays for their final weekend of competition before championship play begins. A small selection of athletes traveled to Des Moines, Iowa, for the Drake Relays, while a larger group went to Hillsdale, Mich., for the Gina Relays.

ND Softball: Irish host three games on senior weekend

Coming off a pair of big victories against South Florida Wednesday, highlighted by a no-hitter from freshman pitcher Laura Winters, the No. 22 Irish have no intention of slowing down. The team now returns to South Bend for senior weekend to play a three-game series against Big East opponent St. John's.

ND Women's Tennis: Top-seeded Irish to take on Hoyas

After Georgetown took down Cincinnati 4-1 in the first round of the Big East Tournament, No. 24 Notre Dame, the tournament's top seed, will face the Hoyas in the quarterfinals in pursuit of its fourth straight conference title.

SMC Tennis: Belles prep for tournament

The cards are on the table for No. 4 Saint Mary's after a successful regular season, its best since 2008. Now, the senior-laden squad will head to Kalamazoo, Mich., for the MIAA tournament in search of three more wins.

Nine Tewaaraton Trophy nominees will take the field Saturday for the matchup the top-ranked Irish have been awaiting all season, as they travel to the Carrier Dome to take on No. 4 Syracuse.

The Irish will honor a Notre Dame baseball legend while trying to keep pace in the Big East standings as they host Seton Hall for a three-game weekend series at Frank Eck Stadium.

Women's Lacrosse: Notre Dame to fight for tournament berth

Despite the disappointments of the 2011 season, the Irish still find themselves poised to return to the Big East tournament. With two regular season games remaining, Notre Dame (7-8, 4-2 Big East) hopes to string together multiple victories for the first time this year.
